Removing the Financial
Barriers Between
Exceptional Students
and the Opportunities
They Earn.
Bridging the Gap
between Talent
and Opportunity
Every year, talented students from across Africa earn full scholarships to leading universities worldwide but are unable to enroll due to transition costs. Costs such as flights, visas, passports, and immunizations fall outside most scholarship packages and stand between a student and the opportunity they've earned.
The HALI Bridge Fund was launched in the year 2024 to close that gap. Through targeted transition support, we ensure that a lack of last-mile resources does not stand between an exceptional student and the education that will shape their future and their community's.

Who We Support
The Bridge Fund supports students from HALI member organizations who have secured a full scholarship to a university outside their home country but cannot cover essential pre-arrival costs. Support is intended to bridge gaps that cannot be covered by the admitting university, the member organization, or the student's family.
Eligibility- Enrolled with a HALI member organization and in good standing
