Membership
There are two types of membership in the HALI Access Network: a Member Organization and a Friend of HALI.
Member Commitments
Both Member Organizations and Friends of HALI commit to:
- Contributing annual membership dues
- Assigning a primary representative who actively engages in the HALI community, including participation in committees and network events
- Sending a representative to the annual HALI Indaba
- Maintaining eligibility criteria through periodic membership review
Members are invited to join the annual HALI Indaba.

Applying for Membership
We welcome applications from organizations and institutions supporting high-achieving, low-income African students on their path to global higher education. Applications are reviewed annually and must be submitted by February 28. Successful applicants will be notified by email. We particularly invite applications from West and Central Africa, where our network is currently underrepresented.
Growing Together
Organization Mentoring Scheme
We offer a one-year mentorship program for organizations supporting HALI students that don't yet meet all membership eligibility criteria. Paired with an experienced HALI member, this is a structured pathway toward full membership. Reach out to us at membership@haliaccess.org to find out more.
