About Open Dreams
Open Dreams is a College/University preparation non-profit that provides educational opportunities to low-income, high-achieving high school students and university graduates from developing countries. We believe education is the key to unlocking everyone's potential. We work to bridge educational gaps by selecting promising students and helping them pursue university applications abroad or study purposefully in Cameroon. Our selection criteria include leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, academic achievement and commitment to community service. We operate centers in Bamenda and Yaounde providing access to resources including Internet, Computers, SAT/TOEFL/GRE/IELTS preparatory materials and tutoring. We also offer mentorship and volunteering programs to develop leadership skills through community engagement. Hubs exist in Bafoussam, Buea, Douala and the Northern Region of Cameroon to identify and prepare students for international opportunities.
