Windle Trust International (WTI) is a British capacity building not for profit Educational organisation with a particular focus on South Sudan, Sudan and Eastern African region. WTI has 40 years’ experience of providing education and training in Eastern Africa, Sudan and South Sudan since the early 1990’s, working with people affected by conflict such as refugees and IDPs.

Main activities are in the areas of, advocacy, community mobilisation, and training at professional; postgraduate, undergraduate level through provision of scholarships in African Universities and in the United Kingdom and provision of vocational level training. In addition we provide specific expertise in English language training, education managers training and teacher education.

WTI works in all parts of South Sudan and in the Sudan under its programme hubs in Juba and Khartoum and through its office in Oxford in the UK and with independent but closely linked with Windle Trusts in Kenya and Uganda. Windle Trust International (WTI) is registered as a charity under registration number 1092835 (England and Wales) and as a non-government organisation registration number 30 with the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Development in the Republic of South Sudan.

Windle has been providing scholarships, English language training teacher training in East Africa region to refugees and others affected by conflict since 1977.
